TIME-OUT is located in the middle of the rice-fields in Buriram province (21 on the map) , close to the border with Surin province (22 on the map). The distance between TIME-OUT and Bangkok is about 400km.  This area (North-East-Thailand) is called "Isan".
This area is known for producing silk products, harvesting rice and making wooden furniture from antique carts.
Because we live close to the Cambodian border, the local language here is Khmer.

Water conditions

The pond is 2,5m deep when it is full. During the dry season the water level goes down.
